Reid's Anemic Majority

21 Dems & 2 Inds who caucus w/ the Dems in the Senate are up for reelection in 2012, most of whom I assume will not want to sign cap & trade or allow expiration of the Bush tax cuts after seeing the Republican takeover of the House (likely gain of 56 seats) & governors' offices (likely gain of 8 seats) in addition to 4 likely seats gained in the Senate and solid threats to Boxer's & Reid's seats. Among these Dems are Bill Nelson (known for the Cornhusker Kickback) & Bob Casey (among the Stupakites who folded in the face of Obamacare), who will be struggling against their own Obamacare support to win reelection.

Blamer in Chief

http://isakson.senate.gov/press/2009/081109healthcare.html

As “end-of-life counseling” in Obama's healthcare bill makes him unpopular, he seeks to shift blame to Isakson.

When his stimulus failed, he sought to blame Bush.

I sense a pattern developing. Whether this tactic will repeatedly prove successful in propping up his polls remains to be seen.
